In order to achieve specific ends, we have developed a system of politics that allow us to make decisions as a group or majority. Politics is a subject that is frequently debated and is often the cause of much controversy. We seldom agree completely on any subject and thus we become divided based on our alignment with each faction’s agendas. This is evident when it comes to the election of leaders within a government. The person that we appoint with the responsibility of overseeing our government in the United States is the President. George W. Bush currently holds the office of the president. American opinion of his direction in leadership has been wavered due to some questionable policies inducted by his administration.
