With the addition of William Duvall in place of Layne Staley—whose trademark croon branded the band's sound—many devout fans wonder if the new material will live up to the Chains' '90s heyday. Staley's pipes are irreplaceable, so does Duvall—who has performed with AIC on tour—measure up?
Vlad: None of these videos do Duvall justice. I've seen him live, and his voice is UNREAL. If anyone doubts whether he's a worthy replacement for Layne, those doubts will be dispelled when their new album comes out. This guy can SING—period.
