The Hecker School was designed and built by John Bauldauf in 1895 at a cost of $1154.00.

In 2002, we were fortunate enough to purchase the Hecker School which is located on one acre of land

in central Ohio. The process of saving a historic structure takes many curious twists and turns, but with

the help of a few skeptical township trustees, some amish friends, a plumber,a well driller and a farmer

or two, the project continues each summer.

In 2007, we added a 15' replica souix tipi and a 16' x 17'x 32' studio space.
