Creative Director (in-progress; freelance):
Responsible for design of characters, environments, and the overall look for a series of CG animated shorts. Collaborate in story planning, including creation of story-boards and animatics using traditional 2D mediums, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premier 6.5. Responsible for the modeling, set-up, texture, and animation of 3D CG characters, environments and props, as well as lighting and rendering using Alias Maya 5.0. Texture painting in Photoshop. Compositing and output to video using Premier. Production team consists of two animators, one musician, one script writer, and various voice actors.

Production Assistant:
Production team experience on two commercially released children's 3D CG movies: "The Roach Approach: Don't Miss the Boat!" and The Roach Approach: The Mane Event" (the series has since been renamed "Bug Rangers", and is currently released by Fox). In charge of communications and duty distribution between the Directors and the team of 17 3D artists and four 2D artists. Participant in strategic management and design planning sessions. In charge of multi-file management & data backup. Responsible for file size optimization and preparation for rendering and output to video, from basic render wrangling, to altering existing CG models and scene files for detail, texture mapping, and overall loading and manipulation efficiency. All work done on Maya 5.0 on Windows NT and Linux.
3D CG Modeler & Environment Assembler:
Created Poly and NURBs characters, props, and environments for both "Roach Approach" movies, a Shasta Cola commercial, and a series of animated shorts for "Snip-Its" hair salons. Creation of Blendshape model deformations for character facial animation. Worked as intermediary between CG department and 2D character, prop, and environment designers to help them better understand the model sheet requirements of 3D modeling. Responsible for master environment scene file assembly and smaller "break-down" assemblies. Assigning clean UV texture-mapping to all models, in preparation for final texturing. All work done with Maya, on Windows NT and Linux.
2003-2004: "Doll"
College thesis animation, submitted into Siggraph 2004 by the Ringling School of Art & Design. Personally responsible for the entire project, including script writing, story concept, story-boarding, character design, audio recording, animation, output to video, and recruiting of voice talent. 2D concept art done with a combination of traditional mediums and Adobe Photoshop. Animatics were made using Apple Shake 2.0 for visual effects and Adobe Premier 6.0 for sound integration and output to video. All modeling, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering done in Alias Maya 5.0. Texture painting done in Adobe Photoshop 6. Final movie assembly done in Premier. Output to DVD done in iDVD 2. Work done on Windows NT Professional and Apple Mac OSX.

Poster for the Stefinity Entertainment's "Punch Drunk" (1998), which won the MOXIE Award at the Santa Monica Film Festival. Illustration and photo editing in Photoshop. Page layout in Quark Express.

SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
Alias Maya 6.0: Proficient at fast & efficient Poly and NURBs modeling and creating
Blend-shape deformations. Competent creating character skeleton rigs with
set-driven controls. Proficient UV texture mapping. Comfortable creating custom
2D textures. Able to setup in-program lights and animated cameras. Able to
set up and maintain file referencing, create render layers, create low-poly model
stand-ins, efficient NURB/poly conversion, and other necessary file optimizations to
speed up rendering. Can manage multiple scene files.
Adobe Illustrator 9.0: Basic usage: import/export, create line art.
Adobe Photoshop 7.0: Proficient at image creation and manipulation using mouse
or Wacom tablet. Able to create patterns, use filters, and manually touch-up images.
Adobe Premier 6.5: Adept at importing and exporting image sequences
and movie files, and basic editing, such as Cut, Retime, Change Aspect Ratio, and
Transitions. Simple sound editing, as well.
Apple iDVD 3: Adept at creating DVD menus, chapters, and gallery extras.
Apple Shake 3: Creation of simple animatics; use of effects and alpha channels; set-up for
output to video.
Quark Xpress 6.0: Adept at page layout.
Macromedia Dreamweaver MX: Basic HTML creation and editing.
Macromedia Fireworks MX: Adept creating layers, roll-overs, links, and
