I believe the broader the inspiration field, the deeper the creativity roots. Over the years I have combined my passion for cultural anthropology with that of multicultural education to forge a career that has had many global opportunities. I have done fieldwork in The Sudan, Appalachia, and in 2008 among the Ye’Kwana in southern Venezuela. As part of corporate, academic, or non-profit sectors, I have worked in Sierra Leone, Bermuda, Japan, Mongolia, and India. Life is all about casting your nets wide to welcome and understand “the other”, whoever or whatever that may be. I try to help students not only with their comfort level as global citizens, but also to enhance the ability to make well communicated art. This is a wonderful world. Go find it!
